History of Air India
Air India started its journey in the year 1932 under the patronage of Tata Airlines. After World War II in year 1946, Tata Airline Air India became a public limited company under the name of Air India.
In the year 2007,
Air India and Indian Airlines merged into one airline, with its name remaining as
Air India. From small beginnings like this to acquiring the most revered planes on the block today,
Air India has really come a long way. Today, Air India’s arsenal comprises of prestigious planes like Boeing 737-800, Airbus A 320 and plenty of other luxuries new entrants.
