
Alaska Airlines and Horizon Air are two subsidiaries of Alaska Air Group, Inc, collectively serving over 92 destinations in the US, Mexico and Canada. The airline is known for its excellent customer services.
Alaska Air Group was organized as a Delaware corporation in the year 1985. Alaska Airlines also shares code share agreement with Delta Air Lines and American Airlines. Alaska Airlines does not have direct flights to India.
Fleet
Alaska Airlines fleet consists of 116 Boeing aircrafts, with an average age of 7.5 years. The aircrafts include: Boeing 737-400 (24), Boeing 737-800 (55), Boeing 737-700 (19), Boeing 737-900 (12), Boeing 737-400 (1) and Boeing 737-400C (5). In the year 2009, the airlines took delivery of 10 737-800s. The airline also has firm commitments for 15 aircraft and options for 40 in 2010 and beyond.
