Fleet
Gulf Air holds pride in its extraordinary fleet of 34 aircrafts including Airbus A319-100, A321-200, A320-200, A340-300, A330-200 and Boeing 777-300ER. The airline’s service to London has 50 hackney Carriages for all flights from London – Heathrow to Bahrain and beyond!
On March 1st, 2010, the airline started its new “Falcon Gold” cabin, a single premium cabin aimed at presenting higher standard of comfort services for the usual price. Plus, the airlines also expect to add another 59 airplanes including Airbus A330-300 and Boeing 787-8 to its feet by the year 2012.
Awards & Recognition
The meticulous services of Gulf Air to India as well as other destinations have earned it several accolades in the last few years. Gulf air became the proud recipient of Golden Award in the year 2006 in the on-beard service category. The airline has also been honoured by ITCA (International Travel Catering Association) with the title of Overall Winner for its innovation, quality and customer satisfaction.
