History of Lufthansa Airlines

Founded in the year 1926, Lufthansa Airways was earlier known by the Deutsche Luft Hansa Aktiengesellschaft. At the end of World War II, the airline was completely grounded. In the year 1955, Lufthansa Airways again resumed its services within Germany itself and used Convair at that time.

The present Lufthansa was reformed in January, 1953 with the name Deutsche Lufthansa Aktiengesellschaft and started its services in April, 1955. Till date, Lufthansa Airways is continuously multiplying its fleet as well as range of services.
